This is a correction to the paper entitled “Hydrophilic chelators for the coordination and separation of radioactive f-block elements” published in National Science Open (2025, 4(1): 20240028, doi: 10.1360/nso/20240028).
The legend of Figure 1 in the published paper should be changed from “Spent nuclear fuel (SNF) constituent distribution from a typical light-water reactor (LWR) with parameters: 1 GWe, burn-up = 33 GWd/tHM, capacity factor of 0.8 and cooling at 150 days. The zircaloy weight is included.” to “Spent nuclear fuel (SNF) constituent distribution from a typical light-water reactor (LWR) with parameters: 1 GWe, burn-up = 33 GWd/tHM, capacity factor of 0.8 and cooling at 150 days. The zircaloy weight is included. The figure was recreated based on Figure 1 in Ref. [58] with permission from Taylor & Francis.”
